At one point the trail is a small stream you have to hike down. It’s pretty amazing.
Be sure to stray from the carriage trail and investigate the cliffs overlooking Lake Minnewaska. The peaceful lake with the Catskill Mountains as a backdrop is the perfect way to start this hike.
