Enjoy gorgeous views along the Northern Loop.
Heading up Northern Loop.
This was one third of the White River crossing (July 1, 2017). Head upstream once you've crossed the first section and look for shallow areas. Trekking poles and good footing is critical!
In the early summer, this can often be the best way to cross the White River.
Mount Rainier really shines from the Northern Loop just past the Lake Eleanor Trail junction.
