One of many small adolescent gators we seen on our visit.
Captured a Nutria Rat while it was bathing. Couldn't get a great shot due to people stopping and looking but it still came out ok.

This baby gator was hanging out just off the trail.
Captured a Nutria Rat while it was bathing. Couldn't get a great shot due to people stopping and looking but it still came out ok.
This was the biggest gator we seen this time around. Hopefully sometime in spring they'll be more.
Crossing the waterway is made easier by this nice bridge.
Another gator just laying around. This one was a decent size compared to most we've seen.
Lastly, a bayou or swamp cannot be complete with out the cotton mouth.
This is just one of many dragonflies you'll see along the way.
