The Marsh Overlook Trail offers a scenic boardwalk experience amidst dramatic, wispy foliage.
One of many small adolescent gators we seen on our visit.
This is just one of many dragonflies you'll see along the way.
Freshwater marshes adorn the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve.
Lastly, a bayou or swamp cannot be complete with out the cotton mouth.
Another gator just laying around. This one was a decent size compared to most we've seen.
