The snowcat bridge you cross at the Winner Cr. trail junction (avoid the 1st part of A1 Ridge like the plague! Take Winner Cr. trail to A1 and split off here).
Plenty of moose and bear sign on the trail. Expect to see some wildlife!
No worries about wet feet on the Winner Cr. Trail.
Only a handful of meadows without brush. Enjoy the respite.
Snow covers every branch of the subalpine spruce and hemlock in the winter.
Starting to get into the high country and the views!
