There are interesting glacial rock deposits to explore along the Yellow Trail.
This exposed bedrock path carved through a mossy forest floor is a great place for a respite.
Part of the Yellow Trail intersects with this working road to a pump station just east of here.
Mahlon Dickerson Reservation offers beautiful trails through dense hardwood forests.
This is the only real place to lose you bearing - be sure to take the right singletrack trail and not stay on the more obvious unmarked trail to the left.
Weldon Brook Lake is a great place to spy turtles, ducks, water snakes, and a great blue heron.
Be respectful, part of the trail brushes against the backyard of this private property.
