If you hunt for shells, this is the place!
The views start right at the beginning of the Cape Hatteras Point Loop Trail.
Sun, sand, and surf await you on the Cape Hatteras Loop Trail.
This is the marker on the beach for the "shortcut road". If you're not interested in a shortcut, continue to Ramp 48 for a longer hike.
The sand can get deep on this road. Look out for 4x4's heading out to do some fishing from the ramps.
