Incredible views from the Wildcat Trail.
At the vista point at the end of the trail, a great view of the South Bay Area comes into view. You can see the communities, bay, and the surrounding hills.
The trail departs the Ravensbury Trail, crosses the creek bed, and begins climbing uphill.
View in Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve.
Wildcat Loop Trail. Switchbacks are numbered, 3 of 7.
Weather-wise, this was the coolest part of my day. Plenty of canopy cover with intermittent sun. Photo shows the trail above an overgrown culvert with running water.
