View from the east rim looking to the southwest. It's hard to capture feel of the massive size of this crater without a higher quality camera.
Potato quality picture, but I happened to be lucky enough to catch one of the Border Patrol's Special Forces helicopters doing practice landings on the south side of the lakebed. After taking this, it did another landing on the west rim before buzzing me on the way out.
