Groups descend the trail through the desert. As you can see, the trail is exposed for the duration, so make sure you have enough water, sunscreen, and a hat to protect you from the heat and sun.

The trail is rockier on the downhill part, providing a few obstacles that have to be navigated as you descend.
The palm trees of the oasis peak out from behind the hill in the distance. The trail descends almost 300 feet to those trees.
