Looking back toward the parking lot, you can see the wooded nature of the surrounding area.
Lights from the communities surrounding Sequoia off to the west. On the east side of Moro Rock, there are very few lights, making it great for star gazing.
The Great Western Divide from the top of Moro Rock. The Divide separates the Kaweah River canyons in the west and the watershed of the North Fork of the Kern River on the east.
Looking toward Castle Rocks, Paradise Peak, and Sawtooth Peak from the end of the trail.
Views of the Sierra Nevada Range abound from the top of Moro Rock.
Watching the stars come out at night on top of Moro Rock is great. Looking toward the Western Divide, there is little light pollution and the mountains spread before you, especially if the moon is out.
Nearing the top of Moro Rock, all that is keeping you from going over the edge is a guard rail.
