Money shot! The ruins photographed from a common viewing point. The taller peak in the background is Wayna Picchu (or Huayna Picchu), and it is possible to climb to the top for a different view of the ruins. You need a special permit to do this - check it out before you go.

Machu Picchu
A side trail when in the Machu Picchu park goes out to the "Inca Bridge". You can't get all the way down to the bridge, but it's a fun walk atop steep walls down to the viewing point.
The view of the ruins you see when you enter from the Sun Gate. The traditional "Inca Trail" brings visitors in this way.In ancient times, this was a (maybe the) main entrance.
