Nearing Sunrise, on our descent on the Sourdough Ridge trail
You'll never know what you are going to run into on the trail. This little chipmunk is looking for food along the trail.
Just gotta take a picture
As the snow melts, it covers the trail. Make sure you wear the appropriate footwear, even in the middle of the summer on clear days.
The trail hugs the ridge line as you make your way away from Sunrise.
Snow can cover the trail into July. Be ready to hike in snow and check conditions before heading out.
