Wildflowers reappear as we lose elevation on the Skyline Trail.
The group from below was working their way to the ice field crossing on Lower Skyline, learning how to use their ice axes, etc. There was a slight bottleneck at the crossing due to under-prepared hikers.
Glacial streams/run off provides a unique habitat on the Skyline Trail.
