Sometimes the great views are behind you.
When hiking through a grove of aspen, it is fun to find old bear claw marks.
East Fork of Dallas Creek.
At the water crossings you need good balance and the ability to convince your dog to turn around.
Wilson Creek tumbling down from Blaine Basin. The trail crosses this creek several times. Look for sturdy multiple log bridges
Lower blue lakes at sunset. Still frozen and lots of snow in early July.
