The beginning of Box 'o Rox trail is doubletrack but will soon change to singletrack. You can see I-70 going up into the mountains in the background.

The beginning of Box 'o Rox trail is doubletrack but will soon change to singletrack. You can see I-70 going up into the mountains in the background.

A bridge over a small brook. The vegetation near this water source is beautiful.
In the center left of the picture you can see the bridge that is right by the Rooney parking lot. Above that is Mt. Morrison which is just above Red Rocks Amphitheater.
Keep on the lookout for rattlesnakes. They live here and can occasionally be seen on the trails.
