This was a couple of miles into the Scenic Point, Mount Henry Trail hike in Glacier National Park.
The trail might have snow lingering in shaded areas, even in late June. You can see the trail as it leads out to Scenic Point off in the distance.
Sitting at the junction to Scenic Point, take a minute to turn around and enjoy the view behind you.
Trip video up to Scenic Point, then out to East Glacier.
The trail is marked by cairns as it climbs up the side of the mountain.
Lower Two Medicine Reservoir as seen from Scenic Point. It's worth the hike.
You can see the trail leading off into the hills as the clouds roll in. This is the view back toward the trail from Scenic Point.
