Through the hiking gate, you get a nice view of the Lagoon. Follow the trail down along the fence.
Perched only a few hundred feet on the east side of the Lagoon, you get treated to this beautiful view during the winter months!

Perched only a few hundred feet on the east side of the Lagoon, you get treated to this beautiful view during the winter months!
From the gravelly Jepsen Trail, you get a view of the Hillside and Peak of the top of the first tower or A-Frame.
After the first steep climb the trail crosses this confluence of trails before you head up the next steep section.
Last little climb to the top of the first tower or A-Frame. You can see the Marshall Road Service road to the left.

1st Tower with a view of Vaca Valley facing I-80. Amazing view in the winter, when everything is green!
