Description
In the spring the falls is running loud and strong, In the summer the water is deep indigo and impossible to capture the color with a camera and in the fall, the leaves and reflections are golden! The interesting feature of this pool is that the McKenzie river wells up from the bottom of the pool. There are only a few times during the year when the water flows strong enough for Tamolitch Falls to run.
Short Hike: Tamolitch Blue Pool is 3.7 mile round trip hike from the trailhead at the east end of Trailbridge Reservoir on McKenzie Hwy 126 east of Eugene. It is well used, so plan your visit accordingly.

Great hike and beautiful views. A bit of a scramble down to the waters edge and water so cold it will take your breath away! A very memorable swim!
