Description
Devils Tower is an absolutely amazing rock formation located in it's namesake Devils Tower National Monument. Devils Tower was the first national monument created on September 24, 1906. There are many theories of how the tower was formed, from bears to floods, but the most conclusive research believes that Devils Tower is what is left from a volcanic explosion.
Short Walk: Devils Tower is visible all along the Tower Trail which is easily accessed from the Devils Tower Visitor Center parking lot.
Family Friendly: Kids and families will love the area.
