Big Moose Scenic Outlook [Suggest Edits]

Description

Rock Outcropping with incredible view of the southern Moosehead lake and surrounding mountains. On a clear day, you can see for miles both Eastward and Westward. You can also see north towards the rest of the Big Moose Mountain Trail.

Short Hike: Short detour from main path, and the detour has little to no grade, which can serve as a slight resting point in between two of the more steep portions of the Big Moose Mountain Trail.
