Description
One of the best roads along the Sky Island Scenic Byway, Windy Point offers views spanning across the Santa Catalina Mountains, with Tucson and the Rincon Mountains rising in the distance. Always a popular stop, these views are not to be missed on any visit to Mount Lemmon and the Santa Catalinas.
On the Road: Parking is available at the viewpoint. There is an accessible paved path with great views running along Windy Point, as well as a short trail leading out to the point itself.
ADA Accessible: There is a paved pathway leading from the parking lot with great views
Family Friendly: A great stop along the highway with many short, easy walks to viewpoints, this is a great stop for all families on the way up to Mount Lemmon
