Description
This is an iconic rock formation that is recognized all over the world as a symbol of Brazil and Rio de Janiero. From anywhere in Rio you can see Sugarloaf rising above the city. The site is a green oasis in a urban setting.
Short Hike: The area can be accessed by hiking trail but the summit can only be reached by cable car
