Description
This is the location for the historic Marion Mine which once mined these hills for zinc, silver, copper, and lead. The mine was in operation from 1906-1916. Be sure to keep an eye out for glass and rusty nails as you explore the area. Note that although you can explore the surrounding area, at no point should you venture into the mine.
Half-Day Hike: Use the Cisneros Trail to reach the mine.
Gem Type: Historic Site

Took a wrong turn and ended up on the harder St Charles path- backtracked and hit the mine eventually.
