Description
With an elevation of 424m (794 ft) Mt. Ogusu is the tallest point on the Miura Peninsula. On clear days, you can see the entire Miura Peninsula, Yokohama, Tokyo, and Mt. Fuji.
At the summit there is an observation tower, a small rest house, restrooms, and a vending machine.
Short Hike: The easiest way to get here is by bus to one of the trails that lead up Mt. Ogusu. There are a few different trails to either run or hike to get to the summit. Round-trip running will take 1-2 hours. Hiking will probably take 2-4 hours. There is also a dirt access road that is drivable.
