Devil's Doorway [Suggest Edits]
Description
This unusual rock formation was created when water froze in cracks in the quartzite bluffs. After thousands of years, this activity broke off all of the rocks that make up the talus fields surrounding Devil's Lake. Some of these rocks ended up in unlikely formations, like the Devil's Doorway. People often scramble and climb on this feature, but be careful, as there are sheer drops surrounding it!
Short Walk: Accessed via the Devil's Doorway Trail, which is a spur off of the East Bluff Trail.
