Description

Boulder Lake is a subalpine lake with crystal clear water. The lake is accessible by a short .5 mile hike from the trailhead. Multiple backcountry camping sites are scattered along the lake's entire shoreline. Several of the campsites have picnic tables, and most all have established rock fire rings. The lake is fairly shallow and is stocked yearly with rainbow trout. It is a popular fly fishing spot, but because of the remote location and the long drive to get to the trailhead is not as heavily used as other lakes in the Mt. Hood Wilderness.

Short Hike: Boulder Lake is located .5 miles from the trailhead.

Family Friendly: A short hike to a nice swimmable lake.
