Description

This is the highest waterfall in Minnesota (that is also shared with Canada) and stands at 120 feet tall. The highest falls entirely in Minnesota are located in Tettegouche State Park, High Falls. While viewing High Falls, Ontario will be on your right, just across the river.

Short Hike: An easy, paved path leads from Grand Portage State Park. When approaching the park, you'll feel as if you are about to go through customs at the Canadian border. No fears though, the parking lot is right before the border crossing.

Family Friendly: A very accessible path and short hike with a major payoff.
