Description
The summit of Stone Mountain provides hikers with expansive views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. With many solution pockets and a sculpted surface, it looks like a hunk of the moon landed in North Carolina.
Short Hike: A combination of switchbacks and stairs help you reach the summit.

Beautiful views from the summit. The trail to the summit was not particularly scenic but view from the top was very nice!

Made it by way of Wolf Ridge &Blackjack Ridge, to the Stone Mountain Loop Trail. 7 miles. Now 3 miles back because part of SMLT is closed.
