Description

Walk the trail along the river to an island of ancient Western red-cedar, Douglas-fir, and Western hemlock. The sheer size of these ancient (some of which are over 1,000 years old) trees is staggering.

Short Hike: Park off of Steven's Canyon Rd and walk north on the Eastside Trail for 0.3 miles to the Grove of the Patriarchs Trail.

Family Friendly: This interpretive loop is popular with families because of easy access and the stunning subject matter!
