Wolfe Ranch Petroglyphs [Suggest Edits]

Description

The rock art at Wolfe Ranch is easy to spot and the human and animal hunting scene figures are very recognizable. Ute and or Paiute Indians carved these designs after the mid-1600's. A visit to the petroglyphs is a very worthwhile detour if you're heading to Delicate Arch or as a destination on its own. The short approach makes this spot accessible for folks of almost all abilities.

From the Wolfe Ranch parking area, start out on the gravel Delicate Arch Trail covering easy, level ground. At about 0.2 miles, follow signs for the Petroglyph Interpretive Trail for another 0.1 mile or so to the petroglyphs. As always- do not touch petroglyphs or disturb any archaeological artifacts.
