Sunrise High Sierra Campsite [Suggest Edits]

Description

For backpackers, this is a great spot to stop at on the way to Cathedral Lakes and Tuolumne Meadows. While you may make reservations in advance to stay in one of the tents that are already there, backpackers can also camp along the campsite as one of their stops while hiking along the JMT. There are bathrooms, a potable water source, and amazing views of the sunrise over the meadows.

All-Day Hike: Located high in the Yosemite wilderness and accessible only by foot or saddle, this campsite is right off of the John Muir Trail.
