Description
Widely considered to be the entrance to the Enchantments, Colchuck Lake's turquoise waters sit beneath the intimidating Dragontail Peak. Though just below the core Enchantments, Colchuck is widely considered to be one of the most beautiful lakes in the Enchantments region. Those who can reach its waters are guaranteed to be rewarded with an incredible sight.
All-Day Hike: The hike to Colchuck Lake is roughly 8.3 miles and generally done as an all-day hike. Camping is allowed at the lake with a permit, but permits are in very high demand as the lake is nearby the popular core Enchantments area.
