Cole Mountain Summit, Buena Vista, Virginia

Description

A short, 1.3-mile hike on the Appalachian Trail from the parking area takes hikers to this vista featuring expansive views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The summit area is mowed regularly by the Natural Bridge Appalachian Trail Club, allowing for spectacular vistas. Coordinates: N37° 45.065' W79° 12.306'

Short Hike: A short hike 1.3 miles via Appalachian Trail.

Family Friendly: Fit children as young as 5 can reach this viewpoint.
