Description

Incredible views of Torres del Paine and its alpine lake. The towers are the most famous peaks of the Macizo Paine formation, so famous that the park are named after them. Their fame is definitely deserved, totally worth the strenuous hike up there.

All-Day Hike: From the visitor center of Hotel Las Torres, the trail is 9.4km long (5km to Chileno Refuge, 3km to Guarderia Torres as 1.4km to the viewpoint) and very steep, specially at the last section. It is doable as a day hike, but start early as the trail closes at 15.00 from the Chileno Refuge and at 16.30 from the Guarderia Torres. Also, you have more chance of clear views in the morning. If possible, camp at Chileno for one-night so that you can hike the final part in the morning, with better chance of clear views and less tourists.
