Description
These beautiful two-stage falls are the tallest in the state of New York. This is a historically significant location painted by Thomas Cole as well as other artists of the Hudson River School.
Short Hike: The falls are about one and a half miles from the nearest parking which is up the mountain from the trailhead. This does require a hike down the road to get to the trail. Use caution as there is no shoulder or sidewalk, and there are blind curves keeping drivers from seeing you.
