Though steep, the trail to Sahale Arm is rich with absolutely spectacular views. This area, filled with scenic meadows and mountain terrain, though not for the weak of heart, is perhaps one of the most stunning in the North Cascades. Below, Doubtful Lake sits amidst countless peaks, showcasing why the North Cascades are often called the American Alps. For those spending the night, the Sahale Glacier Camp sits right at the foot of the mighty Sahale Glacier, offering possibly one of the most amazing backcountry experiences Washington has to offer.

Overnight Trip: Take the Cascade River Road from Marblemount all the way to the end. After that, you'll need to hike the Cascade Pass Trail in order to reach this gem.
