Anderson Glacier [Suggest Edits]
Description
An absolutely stunning view of Mount Anderson and the now receding Anderson Glacier and lake beneath that captures some of the true beauty of the Olympic Mountains. This makes for an absolutely amazing and worthwhile short trip if you're only coming for the view, but there is great opportunity for (responsible) off-trail exploration experiences for more seasoned hikers. Regardless, this stop, just a day's trip from Enchanted Valley, is well worth the hike to perhaps one of the Olympic's most stunning secrets.
Overnight Trip: You'll need to make the multiday hike from either Enchanted Valley or East Fork Quinault Trail. The trail is within a mile of Camp Siberia nearby. Honeymoon Meadows is only a bit further down the trail as an alternate option if looking for a camp. Take the short, but steep, Anderson Moraine Primitive Trail to reach the viewpoint.
