Description

The fourth highest waterfall in Canada and the largest in Wells Gray Provincial Park, this waterfall is spectacular. The rim trail leads around the bowl that contains the falls and Murtle River. During winter, a beautiful ice cone forms at the bottom of the fall. This is a very popular area for ice climbing in the winter.

Short Walk: Short walk (maybe 1 km) from the parking lot along Clearwater Valley Road, which is the main access road to Wells Gray Provincial Park.

Family Friendly: Easy to access on a gentle trail.
