Clark Park and Nature Center

Overview

The Bear, Wetland, and Laurel Trails at J. Bayard Clark Park take you throughout the wooded areas and fields in the Park and are easy to access from the Cape Fear River Trail and Clark Park Nature Center. They are easy and family friendly, with only small climbs and descents. There are a few lookout points where you can look over the Cape Fear River. There is a beautiful covered bridge at the junction of the Bear, Wetland, and Nature Center Access Trail and several smaller bridges scattered among the trails.
