Nathan Hale State Forest

Overview

There are a number of trails in Nathan Hale State Forest, however, none of them are officially designated for recreational use. That being said, mountain bikers are a permitted user-group as the mountain biking community is continually performing trail maintenance within the forest.

Always use caution and avoid active logging sites and environmental study areas.

Visiting Tips

The Homestead hosts a weekly farmer's market on Sundays during the warmer months. Plan to arrive early before the market begins or late, after it finishes, as the parking spaces will be limited and the area will see a higher-than-normal number of visitors.
