English Point
Overview
The English Point Trail Systems is one of Hayden Lakes fun little secrets. If you are looking for a fun little cross country adventure, this is it.
The trail system is maintained by the Panhandle National Forest Service and designated for hikers, mountain bikers and horse riders, along with cross-country skiing in the winter. It is a small section of Forest Service property surrounded by Private Lands so be cautious and mind the No Trespassing signs.
The parking lot is on the east side of East English Point Road along with another portion of the trail system. However, the eastern trail system is used predominately by hikers and mountain biking is not recommended. The trail system that is mapped out here is on the West side of East English Point Road.
There are three main trails on the West Side called the Blue Trail, Green Trail, and Yellow Trail, with the Yellow Trail being the longest, at 3.2 miles.
