Description

This is a decommissioned jeep road that's now a non-motorized trail and part of the Arizona Trail. It is, as the name would imply, rather sandy. It features some unique views of the arid terrain on this side of Mount Elden, and it travels through an area that's an important wintering ground for mule deer.
