From the Van Tuyl Trail #9431 path down to the river is open to foot traffic only.

Description

From the parking area at Charmar Park, hike west and cross the bridge, continue west through the first intersection with the Van Tuyl Trail #9431. After a few hundred yards, continue west through another intersection, through a "walk-through" fence gap.

Flora & Fauna

Pasture grasses and a thick Cottonwood and Willow grove at the river. Peregrine Falcons, hawks, ducks cranes, and countless songbirds.

The split. The cut off is really only useful if you were going to make another lap. Otherwise its the same distance back to where you started.
