This trail is part of a snowmobile trail (during the winter); watch out for snowmobilers.

Description

This trail follows in the tread of the former Profile and Franconia Notch Railroad. It runs from Five Corners, off Route 3, up to Muchmore Road, near Route 302.

The trail is easy to follow, despite not having adequate signage.

Flora: Eastern Hemlock.
Fauna: Pileated Woodpecker, Chickadees.
