Need to Know

Furnace Town is open April-October. No facilities in the office season. Free parking.

Description

Park at the Furnace Town parking lot and hike across Millville Rd. Trail markers are visible from the road across from the parking lot. The trail drops down to Nassawango Creek before meandering back uphill. The trail comes to an end at Millville Rd. Make it a loop by hiking back to Furnace Town via Millville Rd or hike back the way you came.

Flora & Fauna

Forest is mainly oak, pine, and holly. The section near the creek one of the northernmost cypress in the U.S.
