Description

Suggest walking from north to south, the trail starts from the top of Mike's climb. The initial climb is the worst part of the trail - straight up an embankment. It is less used than other trails in the Horse Gulch area. It can be rutted and doesn't look like much at times. Long stretches in the middle pass through overgrown scrub oak trees that encroach on the trail. The descent is a mix of steep tight sections with short steep climbs. It has technical rocks and some hidden steep slabs on the side as options as well.
