Description

The Jordan Canyon Trail is officially a road, though it is now impassible to full size vehicles due to overgrowth, erosion and rock fall. However, the easy to follow tread still provides an excellent trail for a hike.

FR505A starts at an abandoned homestead in the Magdalena foothills and extends up to North Baldy Peak. The canyon has numerous seeps and a riparian environment for most of the spring and summer months, while the higher elevation sections of the trail are through ponderosa forest.
