Saw mill run gap to Turk mountain trail is pretty consistent incline, and less traveled than Turk. Very few people hiking the trail, so less great if you're looking for public. You run into more people once you get on Turk Mountain Trail. Turk Mountain Trail is steep and rocky at the top. With leaves it can be slick, so watch your footing.
