This trail begins at a public access (Access Yes) trailhead at the end of McNabb Road. There is a small parking area next to a corral in a meadow. The trail starts out climbing gradually, but turns into a steep trail after about 2 miles. The trail climbs through a nice forest and follows a creek bed. Later in the summer, the creek dries up completely, but early in the season there is some water flowing. The trail then climbs out of the canyon and ascends a ridge that is just under 8000 feet. Once you gain the ridge, the trail becomes a little difficult to find for a second, so you'll need the map to help guide you. After about two tenths of a mile, the trail picks back up and is easy to follow again. The trail continues on to a barren ridge and reaches a high point of over 8100 feet. Then it drops down to a saddle and connects with the Buckskin #201 trail. After that it heads east and drops down through an amazing forest and ends at a saddle above Webb Canyon. From there, the Middlefork Toponce trail continues on to Buckskin Basin.
